My Shrines!

Since I've been quite young I've tended to always be the type of person to go really deep in whatever I'm interested in at that time. This has led to certain books, games, hobbies, etc. to have a significant impact on my personal identity. Here I hope to keep a sort of digital time capsule to those phases in my life for anyone to see. :)

Quake

For those of you who have had the misfortune of not having heard of Quake yet, it is the groundbreaking first person shooter developed by iD Software and released in 1996, with the multiplayer only release QuakeWorld coming out a few months later. Quake is the origin for 3D FPS games, the arena shooter genre, esports, and after going open source in 1999 it has revolutionized video game modding and is still the foundation for indie games today like WRATH: Aeon of Ruin. Quake has played a significant part in my life both as a gamer and as a software developer. Mega Mewtwo Y (TCG)

It holds a lot of significance to me personally since I didn't have the money as a kid to pay for all of the expensive meta relevant cards but I always kept the vision. Over the process of about a year I traded and competed to earn my way to the to the final vision for the deck at last around the time that XY Steam Seige released.
