Mega Mewtwo Y (TCG)

If you read the little blurb on the shrines page you'd know that between the years of 2016 and 2018 I played the Pokémon TCG very competitively with a Mega Mewtwo Y deck. The reason that this deck specifically has a shrine dedicated to it is because it represents a special chapter in my life. It signifies learning how to make friends through competition, learning how to think outside the box and create something innovative and unique, learning how to make the most of having very little financially and realizing that making connections with the right people leads to many possibilities. This deck comes from a time in my life when I had the strongest friend group I've ever had. Sadly, I moved away after only having this group for just over a year so this deck also is a nolstalgic piece for those memories.

This deck isn't just here for the memories. Building and piloting this deck has set me on a path to many more competitive social outlets and has been an ongoing part of my personality. I am always seeking the next new idea or optimization in anything I do and a lot of that comes from this deck.

Now this shrine wouldn't be complete without the decklist itself so I've made a fun preview for you so that you can see all of the cards I ran in the deck 7 years ago down to the exact printing for each of the cards.
